Peek

Screen recorder we made for ALL

After trying many screen capture programs and not finding what we hoped for, we developed our own program, Peek.

Peek is an open source and cross-platform screen capture tool that’s free. Whether you’re a developer, a designer, or just a student, Peek can help you with making tutorials, report bugs, help your collegues, or check out your own work.

Peek lets you capture your screen as a gif or mp4, snap a screenshot as a jpg, and enhance your recordings with drawings, text, arrows, and more. Its intuitive interface makes it very simple and easy to use.

Peek Saves The Day

When you want to highlight a specific area or draw attention to a specific part of your recording, you can simply add text, arrows or shapes to your recording. Range slider allows you to trim your recording to a desired length. What is even better is that you don’t need to leave the app to do all these.

  • Annotate your recording with arrows, text, drawings, and highlights
